Legal Services Agency - Stakeholder Communications

Overview

We are pleased to invite you to participate in our communication survey which aims to gather valuable insight on your communication preferences and practices.

Why your views matter

The Agency conducted a communication survey in October 2023 to inform how best to meet stakeholder communication preferences and needs. In response to your feedback, we have:

  • Delivered a range of online ‘How to…’ sessions
  • Engaged with local solicitor associations
  • Delivered bespoke training events to the Law Society’s Family Committee and Family Bar Association
  • Increased awareness of the Agency’s LAMS Change Forum

Through this survey we are now seeking your views on how best to share updates to guidance and changes impacting legal aid. The survey is concise, taking approximately 10 minutes of your time. Your responses will remain completely confidential and your participation is entirely voluntary. Please feel free to share this with all members of your organisation dealing with Legal Aid.

Information and guidance about Legal Aid is hosted on the Department of Justice website. It includes:

  • LAMS Supplier Manual – guidance on how to use the Legal Aid Management System (LAMS) including instructions on how to submit applications and other requests.
  • LSA Guidance – detailed guidance on Legal Aid
  • LSA Circulars – details of new policy or processes
  • LSA Key messages – regular updates and reminders
  • LSA How to… sessions – focused resource on a range of topics

Please note this survey is anonymous.
