Welcome to the Finance Support Escalation Referral service. 

If you are a member of the public, please do not use this form.  You should visit https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/contacts/finance-support-service-times-crisis-and-need to contact the team.  The Finance Support Team cannot action any copies of this form completed by a member of the public

This facility is for the use of the Advice Sector, Public Representatives, Housing Associations and Voluntary Groups acting on behalf of people in Northern Ireland only.

Please use the referral form to tell us about the person who needs help from Finance Support.  This escalation referral can be used for the following provisions:

• Discretionary Support applications for living expenses or items
• Universal Credit Contingency Fund
• Short Term Benefit Advances
• COVID-19 grants
• Budgeting Loans
• Sure Start Maternity Grants

When you submit your referral Finance Support staff will endeavour to contact the person referred within two working days.

If you encounter any issues with the referral service please contact mamagement through normal channels.
