Child Friendly and Easy Read Survey: Refugee Integration Strategy for Northern Ireland 2022-2027 Consultation

Closed 21 Feb 2022

Opened 11 Feb 2022

Overview

This survey is about how we can help refugees and asylum seekers and how we want to improve the way we support them.

Refugees are people who have had to leave their country because it wasn’t safe for them and they are able to live in another country.  Asylum seekers are people who have had to leave their own country and are asking to live in a new country.

We would like you to tell us what you think about these plans by completing this survey.  The survey is anonymous – when you send your answers, we won’t know who you are.

You will be asked questions on the following four topics;

  1. How we want to make sure refugees and asylum seekers are given respect and seen as important people in our communities
  2. How we want to make refugees and asylum seekers feel safe and secure
  3. How we want to make sure that refugees and asylum seekers know their rights and responsibilities
  4. How we want to make sure that refugees and asylum seekers have the support they need to make the most of their lives.
