NIEA Management Standards Survey

Overview

NIEA have partnered with HSENI to launch a stress survey for their organisation.  This approach will see a short 35 question survey released by HSENI with the aim of developing a bespoke NIEA risk assessment, action plan and policy in response to our returns.  This initiative aims to build on the feedback from engagement with senior management, with the focus being on two directorates, taking account of the unique work delivered by staff throughout this process. HSENI will be the impartial lead.

This approach will also see focus group engagement with HSENI to further investigate trends and inform direction in addressing stressors and culture in the Water Regulation & Enforcement Division (WRED) and Waste and Industrial Pollution Regulation & Enforcement Division (WIPRED) directorates within NIEA.  We cannot complete this without your input to identify work-related factors contributing to stress and to explore appropriate measures to best support you.

Why your views matter

Completing this is your opportunity to provide feedback in terms of your experiences affording the opening to have your voice heard to influence policy and action planning.

The Management Standards are a set of conditions that, if managed correctly in organisations, can reflect high levels of health and well-being and organisational performance. This survey is part of the process of helping to identify areas of improvement and also to find out what is working well.
