HSENI Proposals for The Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Repeals, Revocations and Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2026
Overview
This consultation relates to proposals by HSENI to revoke or repeal ten legislative measures (two Acts and eight Statutory Rules) that have been identified as being redundant or that have been overtaken by more up-to-date Regulations. It is also proposed to take the opportunity to make eight minor amendments to five Statutory Rules that are required.

Factories (Modification for Docks, Building and Engineering Construction, etc.) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1939
Factories Act (Northern Ireland), 1938 (Extension of section 47) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1948
Office and Shop Premises Act (Repeals and Modifications) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1979

The Fire Services (Factories) (Repeals) Order (Northern Ireland) 1986
