2024/25 Chemicals Questionnaire Questions

This questionnaire has been composed by the Market Compliance Chemicals Team (Chemicals Team) at HSENI. Chemicals are used across a wide variety of industries and professions. These will range from solvents, acids and bases, paints, coatings, adhesives, to cleaning products, lubricants and many other products between. There are various duties when using chemicals for different actors in the supply chain, whether manufacturers of chemicals, distributors or downstream users. The HSENI Chemicals Team has a role in providing advice and checking for compliance with the chemical legislation associated with market compliance.

This questionnaire will better inform HSENI about the level of understanding and knowledge Northern Ireland business has about this chemical legislation. Going forward, HSENI will tailor the advice and guidance we provide and create a network for communication between HSENI and businesses.
