Overview

The Department of Justice is consulting on its stocktake of the arrangements for policing oversight and accountability. Alongside the stocktake, the Department is also consulting on recommendations made by the Police Ombudsman in her Five Year Review.

What happens next

We will consider all views and publish a summary of responses. The Minister will take responses into account when taking decisions on next steps.
