Forensic Science Research Summit for The United Kingdom and Ireland - Sept 26
Overview
The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the inaugural Forensic Science Research Summit for The United Kingdom and Ireland that took place in Manchester on 8 & 9 November and what our next steps should be.
The Summit was jointly sponsored by the Home Office, Scottish Police Authority Forensic Services, Forensic Science Ireland, Forensic Science Northern Ireland, and the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science, reflecting a shared commitment across our jurisdictions to strengthen collaboration, maximise the impact of research investment and support the future development of forensic science.
This was an invitation-only event with the aim of bringing together a select group of leaders from forensic science, academia, government, funding bodies, policing, regulation and the wider justice sector from across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
