Consultation on Proposed changes to the Police Service Northern Ireland Injury on Duty Scheme

Overview

This consultation sets out the Department of Justice’s proposals to improve the efficacy of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Injury on Duty Scheme to make it more sustainable in the longer term and to address the recommendations set out in the Northern Ireland Audit Office (NIAO) Report published on 10 March 2020.

The Department welcomes input from policing stakeholders and interested parties to ensure that the final policies are based on an understanding of how these changes impact on the PSNI Injury on Duty Scheme.
