Article 8 and Article 50 cases in the Family Proceedings Court - Solicitor stakeholder questionnaire

Overview

As NISRA statisiticians within Legal Services Agency NI's Information and Analysis Unit (IAU), we have designed a short, online questionnaire to capture some information from solicitors who have been involved in Article 8 and Article 50 cases at the Family Proceedings Court between April 2017 and March 2020 about their work on these cases.

We are undertaking this work on behalf of Enabling Access to Justice Division (EAJD) within the Department of Justice (DoJ).  IAU will analyse responses to the questionnaire and provide anonymised reports to EAJD for their consideration in the development of standard fees for solicitors working on Article 8 and Article 50 cases in the Family Proceedings Court.  Participation is entirely voluntary.

What happens next

The questionnaire is now closed.  

Responses will be collated and anonymised analysis will be provided to the Department of Justice for consideration.
