Overview

The Public Sector Employer in Partnership with a Training Provider Award 2025 is designed to acknowledge excellence and originality between the Training Provider and Employer in the delivery of Apprenticeship training including commitment; development; and, sustainability.

Who can enter?

This category is open to Employers from the public sector using Training Providers to deliver their apprenticeships programme.

Who can submit a nomination?

Nominations must only be submitted by the Training Provider, on behalf of the partnership, The Training Provider is responsible for making sure all sections are completed, including the sections with input required from the Employer.

A Training Provider must only submit a maximum of three nominations for each category, in this case, no more than three Public Sector Employer in Partnership with a Training Provider Award 2025 nominations for this competition.

DfE will carry out an initial eligibility check, followed by a sifting process, where only the top three partnerships (in each category) will be shortlisted to become finalists in the competition.

What are the judges looking for?

The judges will base their decision on those Employers who can demonstrate how they are investing in the skills of their workforce with Apprentices. More information is provided in the relevant sections.

Applications will be scored against the following three criteria: Commitment; Development; and, Sustainability.
