Overview

The Department for the Economy (DfE) recognises the increasingly positive economic, social, and environmental role that social enterprises play within Northen Ireland. The work that takes place within the social enterprise sector provides meaningful and innovative employment that creates “Good Jobs” for individuals. They also provide positive benefits and value to our local communities and the wider community of Northern Ireland.

DfE understands that accessing funding to grow and scale an existing social enterprise is not easy. This survey seeks views from those seeking to access finance for growth to help inform future policy in this area.

Why your views matter

Your feedback will help DfE to develop a support scheme that really works for the social enterprise sector and one that meets the needs of those who are ready to take their enterprise to the next level.

This survey will not ask you to provide any personal information other than an email address if you so wish to be contacted for further engagement regarding this subject. Providing your contact email address is optional. Any information and data you provide will be stored in a password protected secure container within the Department’s access-controlled Content Manager system. It will be retained in line with the Department’s Retention and Disposal Schedule (R&DS)
