Overview

The Change and Transformation Academy with PwC is fully funded by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with Belfast Met.

Assured Skills Academies are a great way to get industry-leading training before entering the workforce or changing career. 

If you want to learn life-long skills that will equip you for the jobs of the future, this Change and Transformation Academy in Belfast is for you. 

The eight-week training program is a unique opportunity to gain confidence and upskill. 

If you successfully complete the course, and are eligible you will be guaranteed a job interview with PwC. However, successfully finishing the academy is not a guarantee of getting a job. 

Candidates selected to join the Academy will learn and develop skills and knowledge across Project management, People Centered Change, Risk and Strategy Management, Human led; tech powered transformations and the use of AI in business, BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis, Design thinking, Professional Skills and Microsoft suite.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Information Session and Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 28 October 2024.

TRAINING

Successful applicants must be able to attend eight weeks intensive training at Belfast Met's dedicated training venue in Belfast starting Monday 18th November 2024 to Friday 24 January 2025.

Training will be in Campus Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm. 

  • Participants will be paid a £175 weekly training allowance while in training
  • Participants will be paid reasonable travel expenses covering their return journey from their place of residence to the college while in training.
  • Participants may be eligible for assistance with childcare costs while in training.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Applicants must:

  • be at least 18 years old by Monday 18 November 2024
  • have a right to work and to undertake Assured Skills Training in the UK at the point of application and not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. Proof of this will be required in order to progress to interview.
  • hold at least a 2:2 degree at the point of application.

    In the event that a large number of applications are received PwC reserve the right to enhance the minimum criteria if necessary in order to generate a manageable shortlist for interviews. 

If living outside Northern Ireland – by accepting an offer of a place on this pre-employment training Academy, you are committing to attending training and pursuing a job opportunity with one of the supporting companies based in Northern Ireland.
