Careers Service Software for Autistic People

Closed 21 Jun 2024

Opened 20 May 2024

Overview

The Department for the Economy’s Careers Service offers impartial and personalised advice and guidance to people of all ages in Northern Ireland, and this is provided by professionally qualified Careers Advisers.

We want to help young people with decisions about subject choices when you are at school and we can help with advice and guidance on how to find a college or university course, an apprenticeship, start training or finding a job.

We offer advice and guidance to adults about getting qualifications and skills, apprenticeships, finding a job, changing your job or advancing in your current job.

Why your views matter

We want to make sure that the Careers Service is accessible to everyone in Northern Ireland so we are asking autistic people, the autism community (parents/guardians and education, training & supported employment providers) and employers, to take part in our survey and help us develop career software tools that will increase access to the Careers Service.

As this survey is anonymous, we do not need any of your personal details, such as your name, date of birth, address, telephone number, etc., so please do not put this type information into any of the boxes that you can type into, thank you.

Please continue to the end of the survey and then click on the submit button, otherwise your response will not be recorded!

We really want to hear from you.

What happens next

We will use the results from this survey to help us make the Careers Service in Northern Ireland more accessible for autistic people.
