Overview

The EOS IT Solutions Business Operations Skills Academy is supported by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with Southern Regional College (SRC).

The EOS Academy is a great way to get industry-leading training before entering the workforce or changing career. It is a six-week training course providing practical knowledge and real world experience required to work with global market leading clients.

Opportunities to gain industry knowledge while building relationships with key stakeholders of the business will allow for exposure to a global mindset during your growth throughout the training program.

Successful completion of the academy will give you the opportunity to be fast-tracked through the recruitment process with the chance of receiving a permanent job offer to join EOS after the course.

Essential Criteria 

Who we are looking for:

  • Level 5 qualification (HND or Foundation Degree) or above in any discipline; OR a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience e.g. Business, Sales, Logistics or Supply Chain 
  • 18+ years old
  • have a right to work and to undertake Assured Skills Training in the UK at the point of application and not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. Proof of this will be required in order to progress to interview.

Desirable but not essential

  • Level 5 qualification (HND or Foundation Degree) or above in a relevant discipline e.g. Business, Sales, Logistics or Supply Chain 

In the event that a large number of applications are received we reserve the right to enhance the minimum criteria if necessary in order to generate a manageable shortlist for interviews. 

Applications for the EOS Business Operations Skills Academy are now open, with 20 training places available. There are jobs available for each candidate who completes the training and is successful in their final interview with EOS.  Closing date for applications is Wednesday 1st November 2023. Applications must be submitted online by midnight.

Candidates selected to join the programme will learn and develop skills and knowledge across a number of areas mainly; Sales Support, Procurement, Order Management, Customs, Logistics, Project Management + Trade Compliance.

The selection process will entail an interview. 

Interviews will take place on 14th to 16th November at EOS IT Management Solutions headquarters at The Boulevard, 10 Cascum Crescent, Banbridge.  

Training for successful applicants will be delivered at Southern Regional College (SRC) in Banbridge. You will be entitled to claim travel expenses in relation to any travel to and from SRC. 

EOS will carry out a security check on successful candidates immediately following the end of the academy training.  If successful, you will commence employment wth EOS on 19 February 2024

Starting salaries will be competitively paid, in addition to generous company benefits and learning and development opportunities.

The positions will be based in EOS's new state of the art HQ offices at the Boulevard Banbridge, just off the A1 dual carriageway. There is no remote working opportunity for these positions.

The EOS Academy training commences on Monday 4th December to 20th December 2023 and resumes on 8th January to 30th January 2024, following a Christmas break.  (Students will recieve the £175 training allowance for each of the 2 weeks that the college is closed.) Applicants should be available for the entire duration of the training period. Any pre-scheduled commitments should be listed at question 20.  Training, which will be delivered at the SRC Newry / Banbridge campus is 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday for the duration of the Academy.  Applicants need to be able to commit to the full-time training as outlined above.

If offered a place on the Academy, you will be asked to provide a copy of qualification which meets the criteria above.
