Data & Analytics Academy with EY

Overview

The Data & Analytics Academy with EY is fully funded by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with South Eastern Regional College (SERC).

If you are just entering the workforce or thinking of a change in your career, the Data & Analytics Academy with EY is an exciting and industry-leading training course that will set you up for success in the world of data analysis.

We have an established analytics offering in our Strategy and Transactions business and are currently looking for exceptional individuals with an interest in advanced analytics to join a newly created EY Northern Ireland team.

We advise our clients on everything from complex strategic corporate transaction related activities, for example mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, asset disposals, commercial decision making, through to operational challenges. Our projects often involve managing multiple stakeholders and high degrees of complexity and uncertainty.  Our work typically includes constructing purpose-built databases storing large client datasets for our analytical models, using data transformation tools, visualisation tools, programming and statistical tools, to derive insight through data modelling and simulations, in a fast-moving transaction environment.

Working in our Data & Analytics team, you would be involved in developing visualisation dashboards to translate data into easy-to-understand output, designing database models to analyse large datasets and working directly with clients to develop a range of data visualisation tools.

The Data & Analytics Academy with EY is an eight-week intensive training course.

Training for successful applicants will take place onsite at South Eastern Regional College, SPACE Campus, Bangor with some online tuition, and will prepare you for a data & analytics role within EY.

This course will provide you with practical experience and access to the resources you need to develop your technical and business skills.

If you are selected for the academy, you will receive practical skills, training and industry recognised qualifications in areas such as:

  • SQL
