Overview

Introduction

The FinTrU Financial Services Academy is supported by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with Ulster University, Belfast Metropolitan College and North West Regional College. It is a 4-week unique development programme designed to help participants to gain training in professional skills, Financial Services and its regulation.

Participants who are selected for FinTrU’s Financial Services Academy will receive practical, real world training from market leading experts within the financial services industry and will have the opportunity to obtain a globally recognised qualification.

Successful Academy participants will have the opportunity to gain an offer of employment following a final interview after successfully completing the Academy.

The selection process will entail an on-line video interview and may also include an initial telephone interview. Interviews will take place between 28th March and 6th April 2022. 

Previous experience is not required however graduates must be eligible to work in the UK and hold at least a 2.2 degree upon completion of the Academy. 

For the duration of the programme participants will be paid £155 training allowance per week plus travel expenses.

Due to the COVID pandemic training may be a hybrid of onsite and online learning through a virtual classroom. The Academy training commences on 25th April 2022 for the North West Academy and 3rd May 2022 for the Belfast Academy. Applicants should be available from the training start date. Any pre-scheduled commitments should be listed at question 20.

Upon successful completion of the Academy, participants will be interviewed by FinTrU representatives for a job role in the company. If successful, you will be required to commence employment with FinTrU on 23rd May 2022 for North West Academy participants and 30th May 2022 for Belfast Academy participants. Please make us aware of any commitments (Educational Studies, Notice Periods) that could impact full-time employment with FinTrU in Question 20.
