Overview
The AI and Data Analytics Academy with Deloitte, is supported by the Department for the Economy (DfE), and delivered in partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College (BMC) under the Assured Skills programme,
Assured Skills Academies are a pathway to industry-leading training before entering the workforce or changing career. The Academy is a nine-week training course providing practical knowledge and real-world experience required to work in the sector.
Over the course of nine weeks, participants will engage in a blended learning experience that combines:
- Classroom-based instruction to build foundational knowledge
- Hands-on, problem-based learning, where you'll tackle real-world scenarios—solving challenges you’ll encounter in your day-to-day role
- Individual and collaborative teamwork to foster both self-reliance and effective group collaboration through structured activities and peer learning
This program is designed to reinforce critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability, blending insight with practical application.
Training will be hybrid and will take place at Belfast Metropolitan College Titanic campus, 7 Queens Road, Belfast BT3 9DT and their E3 Springvale campus, 398 Springfield Road, Belfast BT12 7DU), as well as virtual training. Applicants should have appropriate IT access to link to any online tuition. There may also be some on-site training at the Deloitte Office, The Ewart building, 3 Bedford Street, Belfast BT2 7EP.
Successful participants in the Academy work towards qualifications in Microsoft Power BI and Azure Data Fundamentals. Participants are guaranteed a job interview for a permanent role as an Analyst with Deloitte. Offers of employment will be solely at the discretion of the company following the interview.
Participants will receive a weekly training allowance of £180 for the duration of the Academy, as well as help with travel and childcare expenses (if eligible).
Who can Apply?
No previous professional experience is needed however, you must:
- be at least 18 years old
- have a right to work and to undertake Assured Skills Training in the UK at the point of application and not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. Proof of this will be required in order to progress to interview.
- Have a university degree classification 2:2 or higher in any discipline*, or 18 months of relevant experience. This can include data analysis, business consultancy or digital engineering skills.
*Applicants who are offered a place on the academy will be asked to provide proof of having attained at least a 2.2 degree qualification.
Deloitte has advised that they are very interested in seeing an interest and passion for technology within all participants.
This is an AI and Data Analytics academy; therefore, the company are looking for candidates with great problem-solving and analytical skills and a strong work ethic.
Applicants should be aware that the company may apply additional right to work criteria at point of employment and a job offer is not guaranteed.

Information Session, Interview and Training dates
Monday 15 September 2025, at 6pm Information Session will be held at Deloitte’s Office (The Ewart) at 3 Bedford Street, Belfast BT2 7EP)
Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17, and Thursday 18 and September 2025 – Academy interviews in-person at Deloitte’s Office
Monday 6 October 2025 to Friday 5 December 2025 – Academy training (9 weeks)
Training takes place weekdays, 9am to 5pm. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the training period. Any pre-scheduled commitments should be listed at question 27 on the application form.

Your role will be focussed on helping our clients exploit analytics to generate business value and identify & mitigate risks.

Training allowances
When you're in a training academy, you will receive
- a weekly training allowance of £180
- reimbursed travel expenses
- and you may also be eligible for childcare allowance
Upon successful completion of the Academy, participants will be interviewed by Deloitte representatives for a job role in the company. If successful, you will be required to commence employment with Deloitte on Monday 12 January 2026. Please make us aware of any commitments (Educational Studies, Notice Periods) that could impact full-time employment with Deloitte in Question 28.
If offered a place on the academy, you will be asked to provide evidence of your qualification prior to the commencement of training.
