By working together, the group seeks to inspire, promote and embed strategic design thinking and the qualities of Living Places and rural design guidance as appropriate, in order to encourage civic stewardship and the creation of successful places which we can all enjoy." It is important that the SDG should make a strategic difference in respect of placemaking, involving influential people from a range of relevant sectors who bring matters to the attention of the Group, provides a forum within which added value can be derived, and then disseminates knowledge widely, to influence better project outcomes. Is there any other group/organisation that fulfils that role?
