Official Statistics Consultation

Closes 24 Jul 2025

Opened 27 Jun 2025

Overview

Analytics Division within the Department for Communities (DfC) is reaching out to users to better understand how the culture, arts, heritage and sport statistics are being used. We are interested in whether the range and type of outputs meet user needs, if any improvements could be made to the reports and views on the proposed changes to the publication schedule.

We are interested in your views if you use one or more of the following statistical publications relating to culture, arts, heritage and sport by adults in Northern Ireland:

  • Headline statistics on engagement in culture, arts, heritage and sport
  • Experience of culture, arts and heritage
  • Experience of sport
  • Experience of Irish and Ulster-Scots culture and heritage
  • Knowledge and use of Irish and Ulster-Scots
  • Knowledge of Sign Language
  • Wellbeing and engagement in culture, arts, heritage and sport
  • Creative Industries economic estimates for Northern Ireland
  • Digest of statistics for the Public Record Office

To gauge your opinions on these publications, it would be greatly appreciated if you could take a few minutes to complete the following user consultation.
