Move to Universal Credit Research 2024

Overview

You recently received a Universal Credit Migration Notice letter advising your Tax Credits were ending and you were invited to claim Universal Credit. We are interested in your opinions and views on why you chose not to claim Universal Credit.

You have been selected as a possible participant in a new research exercise, which will ask about your opinion of being invited to claim Universal Credit and the support available. If you have subsequently made a claim to Universal Credit, your details are not required as this is not the focus of the research.

This confidential research will be led by staff from The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) on behalf of the Department for Communities.

A series of virtual focus group sessions will take place during September and October 2024. The focus group sessions will take place online and should take no more than 1 hour of your time.

If you participate in the research, you will receive a £30 gift voucher as a thank you.
