Overview

DfC Hybrid Working Impact Survey – NICS Corporate Services Directors

This survey will be used to support DfC’s understanding of any positive and negative experiences of Hybrid Working.  The data collected will be used for internal papers and reporting but we will of course share anything that CSD Forum members might find beneficial.  We will not be reporting benchmarks with individual departments, but may refer to NICS as a homogenous comparison should the data be relevant/helpful.  No other identifiers will be used. This survey is not designed to be anonymous, however any identifiers collected will not be passed on or shared in any reporting and will be disposed of in line with GDPR requirements.

Why your views matter

We have engaged with staff at all grades around the province in DfC, aligned their feedback with our People Survey, IIP and Engagement Forums insights and carried out desk research on other employer experiences of hybrid working.  We have as part of this exercise sought to identify examples or models of good practice that when applied in the hybrid context are ensuring good communication, good collaboration and good personal development for our staff.  We would appreciate insights on your experiences, in particular any approaches or actions you feel have improved the positive experience of hybrid working and helped build a ‘community of workers’ within your business areas.

All responses will be treated with confidence and you will not be identified in any final report.  If though you feel you have a good example to share it would be great if we could talk to you about it.

I hope you can take the time to complete this short survey which will close at mid-night on Monday 9th October 2023.

What happens next

This survey will be used to inform DfCs understanding of the positive and negative impacts to other departments services and people through Hybrid Working.  The data collected will be used for internal papers and reporting.  Data will be split by department only and no other identifiers will be used. This survey is not designed to be anonymous, however any identifiers collected will not be passed on or shared in any reporting and will be disposed of in line with GDPR requirements.
