EHOD 2026 Theme: Heritage at Risk –Revive Resist Reimagine

This year we’re highlighting the stories, skills and memories held within our historic places. Heritage isn’t just about buildings — it’s about the people and traditions that give them life.

We encourage organisers to help visitors connect with the spirit of each place through stories, skills, music, crafts or community traditions.

We invite every organiser to add one new, simple engagement element to enrich the visitor experience.

It can be small and low‑cost — a short talk, a local story, a hands‑on demo, a craft activity or anything that helps visitors connect more closely with your site.
