SCIENCE OF LEARNING ONLINE TEACHER PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PROGRAMME

The Minister of Education, Paul Givan MLA, has recently launched ‘Classroom Excellence’ – an online professional learning programme designed for primary schools, focusing on Science of Learning. This programme is being delivered in partnership with Evidence Based Education to support teachers in applying research-informed strategies to enhance classroom practice.

Over 200 primary schools have already registered for this programme. Schools that have previously expressed interest do not need to re-apply. For primary schools that have not yet registered, a further opportunity is now available to participate by completing the Expression of Interest form below. Please note that schools do not need to be located in a RAISE locality to apply.

Completed forms must be submitted by 12 Noon on Friday 9 January 2026.
