Privacy notice regarding filming and photography at event
Filming and Photography at Independent Review of Assessment Report Launch on 5 March 2026
Attendees at the launch are advised that the Department of Education (DE) intends to film elements of the event and take photographs of both speakers and participants attending the event.
Photographs and recordings captured by the Department of Education will be used to promote the publication of the report to a wider audience.
The film of the event may be made available on the DE website and photographs may be used for the purpose of promotion/ publications/ publicity of the Independent Review on twitter and other social media mediums. DE will use the images for any other purpose, however, it should be noted that DE cannot control how images, available on our websites or social media platforms, may be used by others.
Images taken at the event will be used and retained for a period up to 2 years.
We would very much like you to attend our event and if you tell us in advance or on the day, that you do not want your image to be captured, we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes, so please tell us.
