TEO Budget Allocation for 2023-2024 EQIA Responses

Closes 2 Aug 2023

Opened 11 May 2023

Overview

The Executive Office has undertaken an Equality Impact Assessment on the proposals for allocating the Department’s budget allocation for 2023-2024. The process aims to avoid any adverse impacts and, where possible, take action to mitigate against specific adverse impacts.  The Equality Impact Assessment examines options for reductions and the equality impacts of these options.

The Department is committed to seeking the views of those who are affected by the decisions that it will make in relation to its budget.  We are keen to hear from individuals and organisations about their views on the equality implications of the decisions being made and about any mitigations that the Department could put in place to address what will undoubtedly be the adverse impacts of a reduction of this size.

Full details of how the information you provide will be used and retained are provided in the Consultation, Publication and Decision section of the Equality Impact Assessment.

Please use this form to share your views on the Equality Impact Assessment on the Executive Office’s budget allocation from DoF for 2023–2024 and the potential options for its use.

Responses should be returned by 7 June 2023; however any responses received before the consultation closure date on 2 August 2023 will still be considered.  These may be used to consider further mitigation measures, to inform in-year budget reallocation processes or to direct any additional funding (or further reductions) that emerge over the course of the financial year.
