Review of Executive Covid Taskforce - Collaborative Working review

Closed 7 Oct 2022

Opened 1 Aug 2022

Overview

As you may be aware, the Covid Strategy and Recovery team are undertaking a review of the Executive’s Covid Taskforce’s collaborative working practices.

The objective of the review is to provide an opportunity to capture what worked well during the pandemic, areas of best practise and how these practises could be adopted into business as usual working.  It is also anticipated that this exercise will contribute to early contingency planning for Autumn/Winter 2022/23.

Through the Cross Departmental Working Group, members had previously been asked to provide initial feedback on how the pandemic had affected their working arrangements, policies and collaborative working practices. Members were also asked to indicate where processes implemented in response to the pandemic should be retained or built upon.

You have been asked to participate in this online questionnaire in order to further investigate areas of improvement and innovation, with the purpose of gathering as much insight as possible and to not lose the learning that has taken place across the last two years.

Although this collaborative working review is taking place just as the UK Wide Covid 19 Public Inquiry is initiated, it is important to emphasise that this review will not be seeking to duplicate the objectives of the UK Public Inquiry; neither will it seek to identify areas of mismanagement, fault finding or apportion blame.
