NI Environment Link - Farmers Attitudinal Survey 2020

Closed 23 Mar 2020

Opened 19 Feb 2020

Overview

Northern Ireland Environment Link (NIEL) is the networking and forum body for organisations interested in the natural and built environment of Northern Ireland.

Why We Are Consulting

NIEL have secured funding to run a survey to explore farmers' opinions on current and future agriculture policy.

This survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.  We want to hear from a  wide range of farmers in order to assess views on the current state of farming, problems you are facing and your opinion on possible future changes to agricultural policy in Northern Ireland.

Your answers will be pooled with those from other farmers to inform advice provided to Government/DAERA by NIEL.  All responses will be anonymised so please be assured that neither you nor your farm will be associated with the findings in any way.

The information collected will be analysed by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) on behalf of NIEL.  Any information collected may be used in academic publications, conferences and seminars.  Anonymised results will be shared with stakeholders.
