Bus Operator Financial Assistance Scheme Northern Ireland 2020

Overview

The First Minister and deputy First Minister determined that exceptional circumstances existed for the bus and coach sector and subsequently designated the Department for Infrastructure as the relevant department (under section 1(1) and (3) of the Financial Assistance Act (Northern Ireland) 2009) to introduce a financial assistance scheme. The Scheme determined on 3 November 2020 is intended to focus specifically on the provision of financial assistance to bus and coach operators in Northern Ireland.
