Independent Review of Invest NI Call for Evidence

Overview

The Independent Review of Invest Northern Ireland (NI) was announced by the Minister for the Economy, Gordon Lyons, on 26 January 2022.

The Review Panel is led by Sir Michael Lyons who is joined by Dame Rotha Johnston DBE and Maureen O’Reilly as Panel Members.

The objective of the Independent Review is “To provide an independent assessment of Invest NI’s efficiency and effectiveness and, looking forward, its capacity to strategically align with and operationally deliver the 10X Economic Vision”.

Why your views matter

The Review Panel are committed to ensuring all voices are heard during this evaluation and are therefore seeking widespread evidence and opinion on the responsibilities and performance of the agency, so that the needs and ambitions of the different parts of Northern Ireland are fully reflected in their eventual conclusions.

What happens next

The Review Panel will consider all responses so that they can produce evidence based recommendations in a final report. On completion of the analysis, the final report will be published on the Independent Review of Invest Northern Ireland website  https://www.investnireview.org.uk/
