GB to NI Supply Chain Survey

Closes 14 Jan 2022

Opened 24 Jun 2021

Overview

The new trading arrangements under the NI Protocol have changed the way that goods are moved between GB and NI. Whilst the principle of unfettered access applies for NI to GB movements, for goods moving from GB to NI there is now the requirement for customs declarations and potentially tariffs.

The focus of this questionnaire is for goods moving from GB to NI. The aim of the work is to gain an understanding of:

  • the types of good that have been impacted by EU Exit
  • the key issues with sourcing these goods
  • the impact on the GB-NI supply chain

The information gathered in this exercise will feed into a wider piece of work looking at specific mitigations, particularly for at-risk tariffs. Responses will be anonymised so that they cannot be attributed to an individual or business.

This consultation should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
