Webinar - Personal data transfers preparation for NI Business: Practical Impacts for Northern Ireland businesses

Hosted by the Department for the Economy, with speakers from DCMS, this webinar will focus on the preparations NI business need to make in order to continue to receive personal data transfers from the EU including the Republic of Ireland after transition ends.

The one hour session will provide the latest information on personal data transfers. New regulations come into place from 1^st January 2021. This session is to help guide businesses in NI to prepare for a change in data transfers, mitigations businesses should consider to have in place now, if businesses want to continue to transfer personal data legally after the end of transition period.

The event is open to all businesses, business representative organisations, and anyone with an interest in the changes to exchange of personal data and how businesses in Northern Ireland need to prepare for it.
