Housing Supply Strategy Call for Evidence

Closes 16 Jul 2021

Opened 19 May 2021

Overview

This Call for Evidence is the first formal stage in the process of developing a Housing Supply Strategy. It asks recipients to provide evidence, data and views on a wide range of high level issues that may assist in developing the direction of the housing supply policy. We are keen to hear from a wide range of bodies, groups and individuals, from within the housing and related sectors and also more generally across society.

Why we are consulting

The Department for Communities (DfC) is currently in the process of developing a new Housing Supply Strategy. This Call for Evidence is the first formal stage in an ongoing public engagement process to help inform the development of the Strategy. The Call for Evidence document sets out current understanding of the evidence available in relation to housing supply issues and invites your comments and views on this, as well as encouraging organisations, groups and individuals to provide any evidence that they consider will be of value in developing the Strategy. This may take the form of research or knowledge, skills and/or experiences that you have acquired through your personal or professional life. You may answer as many or as few questions as you wish.
