Why we are consulting

Innovation is at the heart of government policy to promote economic growth and productivity improvement. It is crucial to meeting the many challenges we face today and the further technological transformations that will impact us all. Innovation in its many forms will be fundamental to the future success of Northern Ireland businesses in sectors across DAERA’s remit’.

DAERA is in the final stages of developing an Innovation Strategy to direct how it will support and develop innovation activities within DAERA and across the sectors it supports. Completion of this survey will help us to target our resources to areas where they can provide the most assistance to food and drinks and rural businesses.
