Closed 18 May 2018

Opened 19 Feb 2018

Overview

This Equality Monitoring form is to help the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) comply with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act (1998).  The form is to be completed by those rural community and voluntary organisations that have benefitted from funding provided by DAERA, through the Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme (RMCGS) 2017.

The information will then be used to determine how the RMCGS 2017 is supporting equality of opportunity and good relations.  It will also help to inform future decisions on what additional actions are needed to improve equality of opportunity and good relations.

The details on this form will not be used in the decision to award funding to any person/group who applies to the RMCGS 2017 nor will this form be linked in any way to details of individual participants.

What Happens Next

Information collated from this monitoring exercise provides useful information in terms of the distribution of projects and RMCGS 2017 funding to the various Section 75 groups and helps the Department to identify any areas where additional emphasis should be placed to ensure all Section 75 groups are included.
