Pink Ladies Cancer Support Group Event Register Waterside House 26/06/19

Closed 26 Jun 2019

Opened 7 Jun 2019

Overview

The Pink Ladies Cancer Support Group was established in May 2005 and has grown to include The Pink Panthers male cancer support group who celebrate their 6th Birthday this year.

This group provides a community-based approach to supporting those living with or after Cancer who have been affected either directly or indirectly.  It was decided that whilst the clinical side of a diagnosis and the follow on treatments go well from a statutory and medical point of view, for those cancer sufferers, their families and carers dealing with the trauma of a diagnosis and the life changing impact on their emotional and physical well-being there was a gap in local advice and information/support services.

Following on from the very positive feedback from the short talk delivered by the Group on International Women’s Day at St Columb’s Park House, the North West Ladies Hub has arranged two lunchtime information events.

Register here for 26th June 2019 – Waterside House 12.30pm – 1.30pm

This event aims to publicise the group and the valuable work it does.
